Laying the foundation stone for the new site

MLOG: anchor tenant in the ProLogis Park, Neuenstadt

Heilbronn – From the middle of 2009 the head office of the MLOG company will move to Neuenstadt, near Heilbronn. On 25 September, representatives from the project developer ProLogis and from the political and economic field along with the MLOG managing director, Stefan Seidl, laid the foundation stone of the ultra-modern business complex. From August of next year, MLOG Logistics' production and administration departments will be located in the ProLogis Park. The ceremonial act marked the official start of construction of more than 70,000 m2 of warehouse and office space, a large part of which will be used by MLOG as the anchor tenant.      

MLOG will supply customers throughout Europe with logistics system solutions from Neuenstadt. The facility, which is emerging on the plot of land in the heart of the Heilbronn economic region, covers roughly 12 hectares and has an excellent infrastructure and ideal links to European transport routes. Storage and retrieval machines and materials handling equipment will also be manufactured on the new site. In the course of the move, MLOGs equipment, which now forms one of the most efficient production facilities for logistics components, will once again be modernised. Thus, MLOG will further enhance its role as a leading supplier of system solutions.
