“Engineers-to-be” visit MLOG

Opportunities for graduates

Heilbronn – MLOG is one of the most popular employers for young engineers in the region of Heilbronn-Franken. In addition to the challenging roles and the attractive prospects on offer, a career in Research & Development or management provides our trainees with considerable interpersonal contact with their more experienced colleagues and superiors.

A recent visit by students from the FH Oberösterreich in Wels, organised by the Heilbronn-Franken Marketinggesellschaft, enabled prospective graduate engineers and their professors to gain an insight into the business culture and structure of our company. During short lectures MLOG’s divisional organisations such as Sales, Manufacturing and Controls Engineering were presented by their respective senior managers. Specific roles and career opportunities were also discussed with the young students.

For the students it provided an interesting insight into their future after university, whilst for MLOG it enabled important contact with potential employees. “Skilled engineers are in great demand”, said Gerhard Michael Engstle, the initiator of this visit. “That’s why we use these opportunities to present ourselves as a future employer for the students”.

Such junior recruitment programs have already proven successful, and whilst more than 240 highly-qualified specialists are currently working at MLOG, further employment is planned.
